I was eating lunch when I read this thread. I wanted his plate instead of my own and I've not yet even tried haggis. It looked very good.

I found haggis to be quite good, but I really fell in love with black pudding for breakfast.

Hiker, that is probably the absolute best picture of Urquhart Castle I've ever seen. It looks exactly the way Urquhart looks on a clear day, not like the photos one usually sees.
Thanks for sharing. It makes me sad that my wife and I didn't do the same even though we talked about it. We let little things like family get in the way.

Thank you for sharing those wonderful pictures.
My grandparents "moved back to Scotland" after retirement, to Edinburgh, "gave it a whole year....and it rained every day that year."
They moved to Florida for the rest of their days.
I'd love to visit one day too. Thanks again.
