D'Argo is wearing a USA Ramsay, and did very well at his presentation I hear. Even inspired a few lads I'm told from my son, the Kilted Mohawk (no, not anymore, but the name sticks).
D'Argo and KW desperately would like to go kilted to prom, and now they both have the jacket and accessories to do so. This was a major hurdle, I think, and timely.
They still go walking up to McDonalds kilted from time to time, and I think have plans to continue that tradition.
Still, I'd love to get an eyewitness account of the day!
Kizmet, get that boy to work!

My son has talked about wearing his kilt to school. I do believe at some point he will and would hate to be the administrator who tried to stand in his way.
If it is his choice, I'll back my son up 100%. I've gone to the school board before and would again. Fortunately with the popularity of the Greenville Highland Games (about to have their second year) there seems to be a better understanding of kilts here.

Over in Scotland, wearing full highland dress is quite common at prom or school leaving dance, it good to see that it can happen in USA.
Surprising that with so many teen comedy or drama programmes on the TV featuring the school proms, we don't see any kilties.

Little steps at a time. Hopefully the principal will be so impressed that kilts will become optional school uniform.
