Rocky said he needed twenty orders to get the cloth woven. He didn't make a distinction about what kind of kilts, just twenty orders. If you examine the poll above, we have 13 people willing to commit money now... which means we need seven more orders of any sort.

I'd want a semi-traditional if I ordered one. I have a Maple Leaf pending, and a Black Shadow ordered, but later through the winter, I'd do a semi-traditional US Navy. (even though the Queen's Roland Michener commissioned me.)

... and, amusingly (to me at least), the "I want one, but can't afford it right now" faction now has 20, which would be enough for an order, all by themselves.

I will hopefully be ordering one and I in the last two months Have ordered 3 USAK Semitrad, 2 SWK heavyweights, and got a Tewksbury Custom Handsewn and ordered a Matt Newsome Boxpleat, With 2 Cavscout belts and hangers to Boot!!! And paid Cash for a 2007 Goldwing ! SO no whining about what you dont have money for!! Oh yeah and I almost forgot a USAK 4yard Wool Kilt!!

JUst pull out the wallet and spend it after all its only money!!!

So lets get the rest of the orders pronto!!!

Ummm... good for you? We can't all be that lucky... I work in ministry and got a baby. Priorities have to be set, but thanks for the ummm... encouragement?

I know I was just poking a little bit at my Navy Friends !!

I am asking around my Navy friends like I did for the Army Tartan ( I gathered orders and sizes and collected money to get the order done)

I am hoping to get orders for 2 casuals!!

I posted on another forum I belong to, and even went so far as to ask a gentleman who complemented mine, and was wearing a Navy ballcap, "Y'ever think about buying a kilt for yourself?"

If Rocky will make one small enough to fit my 16 month old I'll take two, or would that only count as 1 and 1/2.
