Opps, I will not be able to attend. I called the hotel that I always stay in when I go to Canada, and they raised the rate to $129.00 vs. $68 (CA). So maybe I will see you guys in October? .... have a glass of cider on my behalf...

It's our last hurrah of the summer, and the hoteliers need to make as much cash as possible so they can stoke the fires during our long cold winter. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

There are cheaper motels in this area; you're just choosing expensive ones near the falls. Try St. Catharines. Howard Johnsons or Holiday Inn? I could provide you with numbers and addresses. But also, there's an Ontario Provincial Softball Tournament in Niagara this weekend, too.

Gents (and Scout) I may be late as I have crew prior to our festivities. barring any major searches or rescues I should be there. Oh if only I could show up in uniform and kilt, my kilt check potential would skyrocket to like, 1!
