Ahhhhh much better. Where was I? Oh yes tea.
My tea of choice is green tea. Though Trader Joes has a Lemon Ginger herbal tea that is very soothing when one has a cold.
Hmmmm...time for more coffee.
Cheers

Lets see... posted at about 8:30 am? What a lightweight. Back in my glory days I used to drink 20 to 30 cups of joe a day. Hey - how else are you going to make it through 4 packs of smokes a day?
Today I'm more likely to down just a few cuppas of tea - oddly it seems folks like me lots more today than they used to.
Wonder why?

Mmmmm… I love Trader Joe's teas. They had this Egyptian Liquorice one that was simply divine… and a White Pomegranate tea… and a Chocolate flavoured herbal one (hints of coconut and vanilla) which was one of the best teas I've ever had…
But, on a normal day, I prefer about 5+ cups of black tea throughout the day. Always at least 3 each day (one cup at each meal).
Another good one is this one green tea from Stash; I don't remember what it was called, but it was the most aromatic and refreshing tea I've ever had.
There's a store around here that sells Indian, Russian, and Middle Eastern foods. They sell these huge boxes of loose leaf tea (not sure what kind it is - can't whatever language it's printed in) for 3 bucks. It's not bad, but I do prefer Earl Grey over everything else.

I drink coffee and tea, but the favourite tea around our house is Scottish Blend. With the water in this area being not too hard it is a wonderful tea.

For just plain drinking, or iced tea, I use PG Tips, or PG Tips special Blend. I also like Earl Grey (There are a number of good brands available), and Lapsang Souchong.

I usually switch back and forth from coffee to tea. I'll drink good coffees in the mornings for a few weeks, then switch over to good teas, back and forth like that. The quality of your teas and coffees really makes all the difference. Fresh ground coffee brewed in a press is a must, none of that pre-ground crap.

My favorites are Irish Breakfast, or "Russian Caravan." Both I can get loose leaf at a local store. PioBear, there must be a source for you somewhere? If not PM me and I'll check the price here.

I am pretty lucky, I have a lady that sells loose leaf tea a few blocks from home. She has some great stuff.
As for store bought, I am really enjoying Twinnings Lady Grey tea. It's not as overpowering as Earl grey, but it makes a great cup of tea. My personal favourite right now is the tea at the Empress blend, which is "a selection of seasonal, quality teas, created exclusively for The Fairmont Empress by the Metropolitan Tea Company. With components from Assam (thick malty and full bodied), Kenya (floral-like flavor and a golden coppery infusion), South India (superb fruity and sprightly flavor), Ceylon (airy, almost piquant flavor), and China (burgundy depth with light oaky notes), it is truly one of the finest blends in the world."......yummy. We ended up with 3-4 tins of it after a trip to Victoria in April. I will try and grap a box whenever I go back to Victoria.
I am usually pretty okay with any type of tea. I am not a huge fan of the rooibos teas, but I love green and white tea, Irish Breakfast, English Breakfast, and chai (prepared a bit differently than the others).
I like my coffee, but I love my tea.

With my affiliation with the Canadian CG pictured below is Earl Grey;

Won't drink the tea in case somebody has switched my tea for bilge water . I prefer coffee but when I do enjoy tea it's just regular old Orange Pekoe (with little finger raised of course).
P.S. CCGS Earl Grey is now a floating hotel in Kingston Ontario.
