I have been debating weather or not I should get one. What kind of material do they use- PV or acrylic? I have one acrylic, and I don't really like it all that well. It's staticky. Can you tell me a little about these kilts?

    Communication

We are trying hard to improve communication folks. never worry about NOT GETTING a kilt you ordered - we are not in the business to rip people off - we have always refunded money upon request.
we hope to shortly speed up delivery (although most packages go out within 48 hours) We have had some slow vendor deliveries. If you think it is hard waiting on 1 or 2 kilts - we took out a loan and just purchased close to $100,000 worth of kilts/sporrans/material... only about 1/10th of them have been delivered the rest are expected over the next 2-3 weeks.

My two cents, having bought some of their "13 ounce" yardage. It's nice, and I'm making a clergy tartan stole for my pastor. I think she'll like it, but for kilts.....

    ..........Get the 16 ounce.

Same here... just received mine today. The 13oz is fine for me, as I didn't want too heavy (for a variety of reasons).
As far as customer care... they were timely & professionally courteous with me.

Just wanted to check, what weight is your Macdonald modern dress?
My Dad has one I got him but it is VERY lightweight.
I may get him one from Frugal Corner for his christmas if your's is a decent weight.
