For the Seaforth Highlander khaki wool tams, similar ones can be purchased at Penny's in Thunderbay, Canada.

Just saw your second photo. Brilliant, probably better than the contemporary painted photos.

You can probably sell those, I believe copyright doesn't apply to photos over 50 years old. That's Canadian law, I don't know if that's international. However, you've done enough work on it that I think most authorities would let you claim it. Check a lawyer before trusting me.

    Thanks guys,
Firstly I'm no expert in the use of Photoshop.
The technique I use is not written in stone, I have tried other methods and just wasn't happy with the results, I just kind of stumbled across it whilst playing in Photoshop.
I may post something in Off Topic explaining a little more if anyone is interested, I don't want to here as it may get moved by the Mods.

    Kindest Regards
    Cef

I've always liked the look of colour painted onto black and white. I do this with the old-fashioned method of painting over black and white prints. I can do it in Photoshop, but there is something magical about the darkroom for me.

I just love the painting look of the finished product!
