from Chicago. I just saw one of Turpin's full mask sporrans in person last week. It was the black racoon one pictured here http://onlinemilitaria.net/shopexd.asp?id=983&bc=no. It was really cool. (Full disclosure - Turpin is my brother)

@Livingston: Hello, another Livingston!
@Amoskeag: I was born in Mass., grew up and went to school in N.H., lived in Vermont, married in Maine, family in R.I. No Conn. connections but that's about it! Probably feel more at home in northern New England, but otherwise I'm from "all around" up there!
@auld argonian: I did like the muskrat a great deal. And considering I rarely carry my camera, carrying the wallet and cell phone should be fine most of the time. Definitely don't want anything too big, just found it a little tight for that day. The muskrat got a lot of compliments!
