Welcome! I'm new myself and it's nice to see another newbie show up. Kilts? Going to make one or buy one? Want something to last a lifetime or something you'll wear for a couple of years until you 'buy up' so to speak? Read about the different materials available, and then decide whether you want a dealer/vendor or a private kiltmaker to make it. Are you here in the US, Canada, or abroad? That could make a difference, too. Personally, and this is just my opinion, I'd spring for a really good kilt, after doing a LOT of homework on weights, tartans, maker, etc. My husband bought 3 kilts before he got the right one for him. Wish we'd have just spent the money the first time! Welcome from So. Cal.
