    Good on you Casey,

A lotta folks make them religious/humanity trips out here to the Navajo and/or Hopi reservations for a week or so. Help fix up things or build things.

I've lived and worked in New York City, visited Juarez, Mexicali, Tijuana, Agua Prieta, et.al and lived on the border of the Navajo reservation and traveled the rezlands (dirt roads) extensively....big difference in lifestyle between NYC and border Mexico or rezlands...

Never had a hassle over being kilted on either the Navajo or Hopi rez....well there was one rude Navajo lady...but some folks are just nasty no matter what.
