Wearing a kilt without the sporran?

Especially at work, I didn't like having my wallet in my pants pocket or my cell phone for that matter, so I made a sporran. Later I bought one from Stillwater. Even later than that, I bought a kilt from Stillwater... then another kilt and a few more sporrans...

Then I bought some cargo pants. Now I don't wear sporrans with pants. I don't do the same work either...

I like wearing sporrans with my kilt. But feel free to do what you like. I would suggest that the sporran adds to the effect "most" people will think of when they think of the kilt.

I think wearing a traditional kilt without a sporran looks wrong.
