How many sporrans are enough?

I agree with Ted: accessorise! accessorise! Especially if you wear only one or two tartans.

Anyway, I have lost count, but at least two good evening sporrans: one L&M and one clan crest. A load of cheapies from eBay that I jazzed up with new cantles: probably 6 of those. 8 day sporrans: one thorfinn and one Wyvern leather works.

I should get up there and count the things someday.

the only thing I know I have more of is sgian dubh! about 20 of those. Again, I've got to get a count of those.

On reviewing my stock of sporrans, I have two that I stated above. But, the are thorfinn's and I have two flaps, so that means I actually have 6 sporrans! Wahoo!

Here's my collection:

Absolute bottom are the "project" sporrans: they will either be parts or refitted with a new cantle, Next up are my L&M and more expensive sporrans, then the refitted ones. Absolute top is my WWII Gordon Highlander's piper sporran.

I "have" three currently, an off the shelf L&M that I bought shortly after I got my second batch of Sportkilts; Scooby took that one over, but it's a little small so I let him, a water bottle sporran that you can see in pics from the Pleasanton games this year, and the black canvas I posted recently in DIY.

I am working on the "recycled" full mask badger, and then using the scrap to make a semiformal for Scooby.

The next I buy is likely to be a SWK cargo, what a cool idea.
