One was in a dollar store where this woman said (loudly) O' a man in a kilt! I wash I had my camera." Then she caught herself & apoligised. I think she knew all was fine, because it took me a minuet to stop laughing
The the lady police officer (black woman) that saw me & noticed I did not have my sgian dubh She pointed out that I was not properly dressed with out it. I gave her points for knowing
one of my wife's friends that fits the quoted quote said something along those very lines today to my wife when they were at lunch. That may well be another step towards my wife not complaining much more. I actually wore my black kilt today, since I didn't have to go to work, as much as I have said bad things about it before, its not so bad when it's not out blowing in the wind.

If you had had your sgian dubh on you perhaps she was wanting to "Pat you down" to see if you had any other "weapons" about you. Any excuse to do a kilt check.
Regards,
Brian

I have long hair, and it is always black women who comment that I have nice hair. Maybe they are just more forthcoming in letting us know if they find us attractive? I'm not complaining. It always lifts my spirits when a woman tells me that I look good.
No doubt if I wore a kilt more often the level of attention could get out of hand with the hair and the kilt combined!

I am happy and content knowing full well that I am not sexy in the slightest.
"Entertaining"...now that's different.
