I have recently taken to running. I would like to build up to marathon mileage, but right now I'm in only in the single digits. The second change, is to run races in a kilt. I ran my first race in a kilt on New years Eve. All in all it was a complete success; a lot of compliments, a few skirt comments, some snickers (most of those where when I passed someone). So if you see a kilted guy at a race in J-ville, it may be me.
Greeting fellow Gregorach! and welcome from Valdosta, Georgia. Tis always good to see anither M'Gregor on ye auld board! Do ye belong to either of the MacGregor Clan Societies by the bye? I am a MacGregor by association, belonging to the Clan Gregor Society based in Scotland.
I was gonna mention since you're feasibley close enough, the Tallahassee St Andrew's Society is having a Burns supper on the 8th of February and are opeining it up to the public. I plan on going with my wife, and thought you might be, too. Well, not with MY wife, but maybe you have your own? Anyway...
I will endeavor to post more info about the Burns Nicht on the board, but please feel free to contact me directly if you take the notion. And in the event that I am ever down J-towne way, I might just give ye a holler and see if yer up for a pint or twa! And I would be of course more than pleased if you did likewise if ever you found yourself in Valdosta... I'm always itchin' for an excuse to wear the kilt out! (no pun intended)
Mae yer kilt ne'er chafe!
Cheers,
Wesley
