We love our sheltie (Shetland Sheepdog) "Caledonia." They're right up there with border collies in terms of intelligence!


Beagles are great little hounds, too (but they're English)....

My kids are mad because I get sick pleasure out of telling them all the great things my wife and I are going to do once they move out, like our month-long trip to Scotland and Norway. One item on our list is getting a dog, most likely a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

I don't know about y'all, but this cute little fellow showed up in the dog parade at the San Antonio Highland games. I think his name was buddy.
