Thanks Lady M,
You are SOOOOOO right!
One of the coolest men's gatherings I went to (remember them back in the late 80s and early 90s....drumming in the woods...yalping...??) they passed out red tape and we marked each of our scars with red tape. Then, sitting around the campfire, we took turns telling about each of our scars. An incredible experience to hear the stories and fun to tell the stories of my own scars.
There are often deep lessons to be learned from scars.
Course some of the stories were, "I don't remember. I was really drunk. But they tell me I...."

though
Though we call them "lessons" I doubt anyone would trade them in. I know I wouldn't.

I am not against topless kilting per se, but I am against the public display of moobs in any format or fashion. Moobs - man boobs.

I’ve not too bad a top -- other than pale and more or less aged.
No tattoos, and scars only on lip and knee.
At home in my garage or yard on a steaming summer evening -- yes.
Unless I’m practicing guitar -- skin tends to stick to, or worse slide around on guitars, and perspiration harms guitar finishes.
Also out in the campground with friends, again typically on a steamy summer night. Occasionally before, during (under a tarp), and after a rainstorm.
Feels like…freedom!
Usually with a contemporary kilt - AK or SK solid. Occasionally with a USAK Casual.
Although not completely topless – I almost always wear a hat or cap.
Daytime no. I don’t like sunburn, and years ago a friend passed at an early adult age from skin cancer, leaving a wife and child to wonder why.

sunburn
Er the sunburn, I agree.
There used to be an Xmarker here who had a Bear Attack Scar, and he was not ashemed of it. Though if it were me and I had a bear attack scar I would probalbly go everywear in the nude...

I rarely go topless, with or without kilts, even at the beach due to my surgical scars from male breast cancer surgery back in '98.

Tell people they're battle scars and none would be the wiser.
