Just got home from a business trip and my first kilt was awaiting. A black wool shadow tartan from Stillwater. It's a bit long and a bit large in the waist by about an inch each, but overall very nice for an off-the-rack and certainly wearable as it is. I immediately put it on and my wife, my son, and his girlfriend were impressed. Now I'm waiting for a very nice sporran I ordered from kilts-n-stuff to arrive next week.
