Thieves - call them what you will -, I have to contend with them daily in the store where I work. Personally, I'd rather lose something than have it stolen. My friend has been burgled twice. Hope normality returns to your household soon.

Getting the police to do anything is impressive, maybe the blood was a motivator. My bicycle was stolen last month from a locked room in a church, officer was all non-chalant about it till he realized where it was stolen from and that it was worth 4 grand. Then he started making calls and having people check the local pawn shops.

I am very sorry that this happened to You!
What goes around, comes around.
Maybe they'll get a dose of what they have done to you one day-or get arrested for it-we can only hope!
I have a Security Alarm, a Safe, a Dog and a Gun....makes me think, "Come on Punk make my Day!" I am a nice guy until someone starts a messin'...
a disregard or a lack of respect.
I hope it was not too traumactic for you, but it does burn me **** to think- what if it was me!
In any case, My sincere sympathies, Be Well, and Bless you and your House-hold.

Geesh!

Still better than my case. About 6 or 7 months after the breakin, I got a call from a detective at my local PD, asking me if I had recovered my property. He got a bit angry when I replied, "I was under the impression that that was your job". Then when I told him that my insurance had paid off my claim and I had replaced some of what was taken, he said,"you shouldn't have done that."
