It looks great so far!
I would have one suggestion as to fitting. Always wear the same shirt that you are going to be wearing with the finished garment. I noticed that in the muslin fitting you were wearing a long sleeved t-shirt and in the wool mock up, a rather loose shirt. This will make a dramatic difference in the fit of the final garment, especially in the arms eye. The higher up in your armpit that the jacket or doublet sleeve is (within comfortable reason), the better the fit. When you raise your arms the body of the doublet has a better chance to stay in place.
Also remember what the fitting man said to me when marking up my first sport jacket: the most strenuous thing you'll be doing in this jacket is driving and dancing, it can be much more "constricting" than you think at first.

On the other hand, I'd say if you can't sword fight in the jacket, it doesn't fit right.
Well this project has been very drawn out. I have gotten into the thick of making kilts along with various other jobs and haven't had the time to put into the jacket.
I am nearly happy with my latest mock-up and trust I shall soon be making a finished version.
