I see by one of the more recent stories in the press that these good folks have contacted Craig Ferguson and asked if he would get involved.

God save those poor school admins if Craig starts up on them!

Apparently not. The press may have gotten it wrong, as I was just on FB and Hamish denies that anyone from his family has been in contact with any talk show...

Nonetheless, it does seem that this story keeps picking up steam and has attracted media attention from just about every major Canadian daily newspaper, and his Facebook page certainly has international support.

I joke sometimes about how the clan jumps to help in a number of types of matters, sure the family probably didn't contact anyone, but that doesn't mean it wasn't done. Ferguson might well have seen it on the news, or any of the hundreds of annoyed people might have sent off a comment towards him.

It STUNS me that this happens in Canada. Late night TV, facebook members ... This NEEDS to become an embarrassment to the school administration so that future administrations shy away form trying to wield this kind of oppressive power.
