My ELKK washing went just fine. I followed the washing instructions on tag and washed in cold water without fabric softner and put in dryer on gentle (low temp cycle) for about half an hour. I was surprised to find it nearly completely dry as I had washed/dried some other garments with it. The pleats looked fine although the entire ELKK was slightly more wrinkled than when it went in. I am not concerned though as this is my working/hiking/lounging around kilt and need not be pressed perfectly. I laid it out flat on the bed, straightening the pleats and some of the wrinkles came out and the pleats looked neater after it fully dried.
I purchased a $30 steamer from Walmart and it keeps all my pleats crisp! Just takes two minutes or less!
See what happens when I wander back to this site? I find that the kilt I've been considering for months now is on sale out there on the interwebs...and of course, that site takes PayPal so I don't even have to get out of my seat to look for the credit card...and before I know it I've ordered one. I hope you're all very pleased with yourselves. ;)
I bought one, my first kilt. I really like it, very comfy wearing around the house/yard. I wore it to the range the other day. Not a very good picture, paired it up with a punisher t shirt.
Thanks, by far the most comfortable piece of clothing I have ever worn!!! Took a bunch of ribbing from my friends, at the end of the day though, a couple of buddies asked where they could get one!
