A quick Google search showed no tartan hospital gowns available. I am seeing an opportunity here, except that I can't sew. Maybe one of the intrepid kilt makers on the forum can get one made and shipped up to Vancover.

Many, many thanks -- once again -- all of you for your kind greetings and this wonderful mantel of cards. I've my fingers crossed that this will be the last time they are needed. I'm off home next week a bit late in the year but feeling much better about travelling and being away from my favourite surgical team (if there can be a favourite one of those). I'll call you in this next fortnight, Jock, and we'll plan a time and place for our dram as soon as I'm ready to travel south to you.
Sorry to be late to this thread Rex, but I'm glad to hear that you're out of hospital and heading back home soon. Please accept my best wishes for an uneventful return to robust, rude health, and I'm looking forward to the next beer we will hoist together.
