Having grown up in Smyrna, I still have some family down there. I bet I could use this as an excuse to get the wife and kids on a road trip. I know the kids have been asking about hiking Kennesaw Mountain again.

This is the Atholl Highlanders Pipes and Drums coming up to the line during Massed Bands at Opening Ceremonies

At the center in the kahki tunic is Mr. Ben Linton, Asst Drum Major, and our own Atlanta Kiltie

This group are the ladies of the Wild Highlanders, a demonstration group that is a fixture at the Stone Mt. Games and many others in the Southeast. They are a fine group of people, and are recognized as a clan by the Lord Lyon. Over the course of several years my daughter Haley has gravitated to them wherever they are, and served as an unsolicited babysitter to the clan children at games, leading them a merry chase over the grounds and freeing the parents to attend to their duties.

Here is the First Lady of the Clan, Sheri Cameron, ostensibly demonstrating an arisaid for the crowd, using Haley as a model. Haley doesn't know it, but in appreciation for her service she is about to be adopted into the clan.

She has just been told. Look at her face! She is Over the Moon!

Sheri puts the final touches on the arisaid, and the ladies gather round the new member. Look at that face. We both got teary.

The blond girl is Emmie Cameron, Chief's daughter and Haley's special "games" little sister.

Not the Scot's Atholl Highlanders, I presume?Assuming my presumption is correct, where do the one's in your pictures hail from?

Super pictures one and all and it is handy to be able to put names to faces. Thank you.

I am rather puzzled by this suggestion.
Is there a hereditary Chief of the clan who has been recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms?
If not does the clan have Scottish Armigers who have been recognised and granted their authority by him?
