    I shall spend the time between now and its arrival deciding which excellent vintage to share and where to celebreate.
    Here here! The Atlanta (which is to say North Georgia) crew is a great bunch of folks and I know we'll do the quaiche proud.

    Also, being that I'm never far away from a trip up to Franklin NC and the Scottish Tartans Museum, I could possibly take it by hand on a kilt pilgrimage, when and if it comes to our neck of the woods.

    Welllll... IF the suggestion that the quaich be sent in a Westward direction is adopted, and considering that Steve's already in Vancouver.... Can't get TOO far more West than that.... The quaich should arrive in Victoria, B.C., before making it's way to NZ, Australia, and then to Japan!

    Great news. I didn't have the pleasure a visit from the wee airship. So I really hope that the quiach will come on a visit to Norway sometime in the future. It will see both fjords and mountains, and of course, experience a real Norwegian kilt night.

    Steve, that's a great idea. Once it's ready to go, I think a kilt night in Victoria is in order to see it off!

    Just think about how many wee drams will be served from this vessel. Oh! I'm starting to get a hangover as I think about this! But in true fashion, since the gauntlet has been put down, it is a task that I shall assist with in as Gentlemanly a fashion as this old Chief can muster. Of course, I'll likely need assistance with Gentlemanly fashion!

    Cheers!

    Getting on the list as a destination

    So, where do we list our longitude so the quaich knows where to go next to continue its journey in the proper direction?

    To anyone who wishes to include their Longitude;

    Go to your User Control Panel (UserCP) by clicking the link on the navigation bar in the upper left corner of ever page of the forum.

    In the left panel of your Control Panel find "Edit Your Details".

    Scroll down till you find the box for "Your Location"

    Enter you Longitude. For those who don't know, Longitude is your location on earth, in degrees, minutes and seconds of arc, measured east and west from Greenwich England. (note - To enter the degree sign hold down the alt key while typing 0176. Alt+0176)

    To see what this will look like see my location entered in the upper right corner of this post.

    If you do not know your location in Latitude and Longitude try going to google earth and putting the cursor on your house. Then read the lat/long.
