    Slainte,
Yes, the Duke of Windsor was well known for his rather flamboyant sense of style. Definitely pushing the limits in certain aspects. What he could get away with due to his station in life may be more than the rest of us could!

Anyway, here's another example of a patterned jacket. This photo was borrowed from Chas's recent thread where the Duke of Edinburgh attended the Braemar Gathering. Note the jacket at center:

Some of you might like to know that the Duke is wearing the Balmoral Estate tweed. This tweed is worn by the estate staff as well as some of the Royal family.

OK, Chas beat me to it.
Actually we can upload direct from our computer with the new version of software we have. In the advance setting, when posting the middle line of symbols the sixth from the right. In the Quick Reply setting it is fourth from the right. Place your cursor on it and it shows insert image. Click on and then you can chose an image from your computer. The image is much smaller than photobucket image copying, but it's quicker to do if the need arises. You can click on the pic once you posted it and it will show a larger image. Here's one I uploaded just now to this post.

You can upload videos with the symbol to the right of it. Although I've not tried it.

Back to the discussion at hand.

An outfit belonging to the Duke of Windsor

This photo has been posted on the forum before, but notice the pattern on the Argyle jacket.

I'm all in favour of tweeds in interesting patterns.

I think this tweed jacket works well, both with the MacLean hunting and MacLean red weathered.

Indeed it does, Sandy! I love that jacket of yours. Very smart with your Maclean tartans.

When I try that, all I get is a box to insert a URL from a photo that's already hosted on the web somewhere. I don't get the option to upload from my computer.
