    Mine looked like somebody had dipped me, head to toe, in bottle green paint. (I had plain hose the exact shade of the jacket, and, to take things to an even more absurd extreme, I bought a bottle green Glengarry! Oh if Jock Scot could have only seen it all...)

    There's no better hose with BW tartan than red/white diced, in my opinion, and it's why your kit looks so much better than mine did. Yours has just the right balance, mine was complete overkill.

    I know this is an older thread, but wanted to comment anyway. I specifically was looking for threads containing any info on green jackets, specifically PC, as I found one in a local shop... in my size... for less than $200 and was considering purchasing it. However, being completely ignorant as to whether or not green was acceptable, I turned to here for information.

    As always, the community came through! I think I'll buy it.
