I have 2 Stillwater kilts and am very happy with them. Jerry gives great service too.
As for phil's initial comment I took it as he meant it, a notice to all to be careful using ebay, and nothing more.

AC is in the shower, so I am taking the liberty of answering for him. Yes, it is a Stillwater kilt in the gallery. I too have been very happy with their service and quality of merchandise.

I have looked at Stillwater Kilts, and they are sharp looking, in fact they are on my extremely long list of more kilts that I want. And with what you guys say they are great kilts.

What's this Blu? you have a private secretary answering posts for you while you're in the shower?
Do you suppose this method will help you catch up to me?
Think I'll get Leslie to take over when I'm on the toilet

Since you outpost me an average of 2.2 to 1, I figure it will take me roughly 2-1/2 years to catch up if I triple my posts starting today!

My wife and I have had some unfortunate experiences on Ebay as well. Sometimes the picture looks much "different" than the actual product, or the seller won't answer email questions once the sale is completed - BAD customer service! On the other hand, I have also had some of the BEST customer service from sellers I have purchased from on Ebay! I currently own 5 kilts from Stillwater and the service and products I have received has been excellent! However, I was an Ebay newbie once, and can relate! Experience is a great teacher! Feedback can be a good indicator, but not always...

Canadian buyers
For us Canadians buying from the States the UPS service are the biggest crooks! on top of the shipping and handling fees one pays for on top of the product, if it is Shipped UPS, we then get charged a brokerage fee from UPS (minimum $35) plus duty etc.. I understand Utilikilts have solved this problem internaly not sure about other vendors. I try and get the vendor to ship via postal service instead.

I have ordered from UK and Stillwaters before and didn't pay any borkerage fee. I didn't think they use the Brown Truck.

I would rather buy a kilt from a kiltmaker I trust, not that I am judging you for even trying, I just couldn't be bothered.
Ditto!
Sorry to hear about the situation. I have only searched eBay and never bought anything. As up on computers as I am I'm, I'm that far down the chain on how to work the site.
