Well Llew was the first to wake up Christmas morning and was a bit excited by it all and decided to climb the tree


After I opened all my pressies, Llew and and a mate that I invited over take a good look at them, but I had to give them both a stern warning about not playing with the scotch whisky.


Llew and StKilda are now out in the backyard playing games, so more photos to come as the day goes on

Truly an amazing journey. I hosted Llew last year on the Pacific Coast just south of LA and seeing the air miles to Melbourne is 7,931 and that excludes all of the other sojourns the scarf has made.

After their over consumption of food and beverage, the boys decided it was best to have a wee lie down in the Aussie sun

Llew was up bright and early this morning and decided to explore the forum and see what hat been written about him and his travels


Judi and Ithen decided to take Llew on a little walk along the cliffs on the western side of Westernport bay, so we pick up StKilda on the way and headed out to the town of Flinders

Llew wanted Judi in the shot also, so who are we to argue with out guest


We then walked along the cliff tops at the edge of the golf course to the entrance of the Royal Australian Navy West Head gun battery


A short stroll across the head to a spot I used to surf at as a teenager. In the the background you may be able to see the gun battery buildings. They used to practice on weekdays and would fire over the sufers heads to a reef about 800 metres away




As we continued our stroll Judi thought it a good idea to get a snap from behind

On the way back to the car Llew wanted a couple more snaps, just for the hell of it



We then went back up the bay a bit to a nice little village called Somers where Llew and StKilda checked out the trail walking map


After a short stroll it was time for a bit of tucker


On the way home we stopped off so the the boys could have a quick go at the seaside playground and a quick viewing of the mangrove swamp

Firstly Llew is on his way to Herminator in Germany. He left 1200hrs AESST today (02-01-13) and should be in Germany within 4 working days

Secondly Llew went on his last Australia outing yesterday to the 152nd New years Day Maryborough Highland Gathering

Llew was a bit hit and to start off the day he was invited onto the official reviewing platform to take the salute of performers during the opening street parade














Maryborough is only a small former Goldfiedls town but locals and tourists line the street for the Highland Gathering's street parade

Next we moved on to Prince's Park where the days activities take place, including Highland heavy games, an athletics meeting culminating in the $8000.00 first prize Bendigo Bank Gift over 100 metres, a highland dance competition, bands and other assorted activites.

First up Llew met one of our good scottish friends Barry Grant who looks after the Grant clan tent at the Victorian games


Next up, Llew who was now on first name basis with the convening committee, wanted to see what this "Gift" race was all about, so he climbed up onto the finishing gate, just to see how far these blokes had to run


So after all the excitment of the morning and the fact it was past lunchtime Llew decided to have a wee nap on our friends bass drum,while the rest of us tucked into good food and beverage
