What a Stunning Kilt!!! How are you going to top this one?
What kind of reaction do you get when you are out?
Do people stare at you more than usual?
I hope you don't run in to any PETA Member.

Definitely different. It's not what I would have pursued, but that's my tastes, not yours. That being said, it doesn't look bad, you obviously like it, and that's what counts. Personally, I think it's neat to see some experimentation in materials/designs that would inspire diversity... but that doesn't mean that I have to personally enjoy each variant. Congrats on your new acquisition, and your what... 4 others to come? Ha ha ha. Hey, I went a little spasmatic, and ordered a few in a row... I just haven't had as much time to acquire as many, as I am a bit of the younger variety.
I'll be hung up on that kilt though... it's just so odd in comparison to what you would "typically" see, but not in a bad way.

Surprisingly, very smart. For some reason I was expecting something a bit shinier, blingier. That's quite an amazing material. Looks good with the 'toned-down' hose and shirt too.

Ham
What an amazing kilt, the wait must have been dreadful, but looks to be well worth it.
Don't think anyone here is at all sick of seeing your new ones, at least not me anyway

Ham, do you have a walk in closet for all of your kilts,or do you keep them in a big safe, like at a bank. By my estimation, that is somewhere around $40,000 American worth of kilts. Congratulations on the new aquisition, it is a beautiful well made kilt.

I really do not know, Raph. Maybe I shouldn't try!

I have not had it long enough to wear it outside yet, but I imagine when I DO go out in it, there will be a few raised eyebrows!! What do you mean, "....more than usual." ?! People don't stare at me, they look with open eyed amazement!!!
I hope you don't run in to any PETA Member.
If that means what I think it does, Raph, then so do I! However, I guess they would not be as worried with pigskin as they would with genuine 'snake'!

I may be considerably older, Andrew, but I had only one kilt from 1973 to 1999. The Kollecting thing began in 2000 - only six years ago. So, you can still do it!!!
