A few more shots
I'll add a few more shots that emphasize the beauty of the Scottish countryside.

Wife and sheep (kilts on the hoof ). She loves sheep.

Another shot of Loch Ness from Urquhart Castle.

Ridges overlooking Loch Lochy.

Glen Coe, with the River Coe at the base of the mountain. The amount of water coming off the ridges was hard to believe. Rain and fog made for hard photographic conditions.

Another shot in Glen Coe.

Last photo of Scotland taken through the airliner window just before we taxied out. You know you're in a special place when even the airport is this pretty.

Congratulations TH on a splendid set of photos, some taken in extremely difficult conditions. I easily recognised the locations of all your Edinburgh and Urquhart Castle pics, but have never managed to get to Glencoe (somehow scenes of massacres and batttlefields don't 'do it' for me - maybe because I have never been able to trace my roots in Scotland or elsewhere!)
I expect to be in Edinburgh again right at the start of April for the 'Kilt Walk' event, but that seems a long way off.

Great pictures!
It must be in my blood, because I love that kind of weather.
When our next door neighbor first say me in a Kilt, she proudly pointed out that her maiden name was Urquhart and mentioned that Castle.
