BTW all, if your new, build your statue and train you palidin. That is one of your greatest defenses against attacks. And believe me after the 3 day protection window is over, you built your village, and they are coming for it.

got my statue built, my wall is up.....gonna try to upgrade my wall and hiding spots, then recruit an army.

Cloves, you can recruit your paladin now by clicking on your statue. The Paladin takes 6 hours to train and doesn't use much resources. You'll be glad you have him.

my paladin is training as we speak. i'm recruiting more spearmen too.
How did you guys build up points so fast?? I'm still at 170, while you all are into the 200's
Got strategies for the process? It wont let me upgrade more than one building at a time unless I switch to a premium account.

actually with a non-premium account you can upgrade 2 buildings at a time as long as you have the resources to do so. If you build one thing, and then the others say "resources available at 00:09" then you can start construction that building/upgrade. Building up your Timber, Clay, and Iron facilities early lets you build faster. Also having my HQ at level 6 has been helping me build faster.
