I don't want a black or white tartan because the shirts I plan to wear are black and/or white. I want some color. I really do like the Warrior tartan. The Baru is very nice as well. Bright reds don't look very good on me. Dark reds like wine red and garnet do though.

A challenge to any of our kilt makers? You might make a new kilting boom!

I've got pleather stillettoes, boots, belts, a shirt, a jacket, and a couple pleather purses. Why not a pleather mini-kilt?

Talk to Robert at R-Kilts about a pleather one (or a REAL leather one for that matter). If you're diggin' the Maple Leaf tartan, ask MacHummel. If you want any other PV tartans, either MacHummel from CCK or Kelly (my partner in USAK... I don't make the minis, she does) could fit you up nicely.

Can't afford a real leather mini. That's why I'm interested in a pleather one. I don't know if I like the Maple Leaf tartan. I'm really leaning towards the Warrior tartan. I could wear it with a black "party" shirt and knee high boots or a white fitted Polo shirt, white knee highs and Mary Janes. I like bold, pure colors, but not, bright colors like bright yellow or orange. I don't really like toned down, muted or weathered hues.

I think you could wear the Warrior tartan with a black "party" shirt and knee high boots or a white fitted Polo shirt, white knee highs and Mary Janes, or even some of those stillettos you were talking about earlier, the Warrior tartan can be very versatile, and I am sure you can pull off a few class looks with it.
