Not being a graphic designer, it looks great.
What about rather than a maple leaf, it's on an outline map of Southern Ontario perhaps with a maple leaf somewhere?
The SOKS looks good....now to find money for a downpayment on a Maple Leaf Tartan by Pete McHummel. It'll be a 8 yarder.
I have nothing on my calendar for May 18 on...

Well that is something to think about, however I chose the maple leaf because it is a universal symbol of Canada, I thought the Ontario part could be explianed when someone asks why Socks is not spelled correctly. I also was not and am not sure about how a map of Ontario will translate, we will know its a map of Ontario, but others may not.

I like it
Put me down for a medium tshirt, what colour should we print on? I also have a simple one colour version, I will send it to you also.
One other idea, should we have something on the back?

Let me know what you think.
Hmmm. There is just too damn much talent on this board. VERY nice. I like this a lot and want one.
I'm afraid that I am so smitten by my new grand daughter that the move to Southern Ontario may have to be accelerated. The plan was in 5 years that we would resettle from the US to somewhere between the eastern suburbs of Toronto and all the way around the lake to Ft. Erie. There are a lot of ifs and timing involved but can I please as of now be an honourary member of SOKS?
I know this sounds a bit sentimental or even plain old mental but I'll get to a kilt night up there before fall.

Thanks Starbkjrus
I for one think that anytime you have the time for a kilt night I would be up for it, just let us know and I am sure we could throw something together, as far as I am concerned you can most definately join the ranks of the SOKS, you do have to get to at least one kilt night so let us know and we will see what we can do.
So when are we getting together, one of my new kilts should be in by next week, and I know some people wanted to check out my freelander, and I made a casual kilt belt on Thursday, oh and don't let me forget my Tam just came in from Dreadbelly.
Reviews to come on all of it soon, I just got my computer up and running at the new place, so I have yet to get a digital camera hooked up but once my new 16oz gets here it's on the list.

I already thought you and Barclay and McClef were the satellite SOKS presidents for Virginia*, North Carolina and Wales just as Wompet is for upstate NY.
*Especially you Starbkjrus, because I sorta have this little something about Sissy Spacek down there in Keswick! Oh and Dee that's just between you and me . My God if Improv1 ever found out about my crush I'd never hear the end of it!

McMurdo, you are a genius. One thought, and if Panache is reading this, what clour t-shirt would go with the Maple Leaf tartan. I was thinking dark red but the maple leaf logo would be lost on it. Should we look for another colour to pull out of the tartan. Or should we just pick any colour (except grey, sorry Hendry).
