I enjoyed the pictures and also the little information about habits. I'm not Catholic but my sister in law is a sister. She is a poor clair (I hope that is the correct way of saying it). I don't know much about them at all.

Oh, nice to have a Poor Clare in the family. In which monastery is she? Just fyi, they were founded by St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare and follow a contemplative way of life.

She was in Newport News, VA but they built a new place close and moved.

Sister, what fun your pictures are.
I must admit that since the majority of my experience with nuns were those in a Carmelite order it's hard to think of a nun in street clothes, never mind on the computer. You do share the humour I so fondly remember them having though.
