I am still planning on being there. I hear the roads are OK, not great, just OK.

With the weather, we are still on. We ask that you use caution. We have some players from Louisville & Shelbyville that will not be able to make it so bear with us.
I'll be playing tenor for a part of the show. I haven't been able to go to band practice so I don't know all of the sets.
Make sure you say hi!

I'm coming from Louisville to watch, and I'll be able to make it. I will be stopping in Shelbyville to collect some items I bought at the Scotland Yard by phone, as it's on my way.
See y'all there!

Dear Friends,
I would like to thank all from X Marks The Scot who braved the elements to come out and see/support Kentucky United Pipes and Drums. It is by concerts as this that we support our group (buy kilts, reeds, etc).
It was a pleasure to meet many of you last evening and it is my hope to see you again at parades/concerts. We will certainly be back at Natasha's in the future.
Please visit our website at www.kentuckyunited.org for future performances as well as other information on the band.
Again our heartfelt thanks and have a great St. Patricks day.

Our pleasure, Rick and Angela! We really enjoyed the performance. Between J.T. taking lessons from Malcolm, and having you guys on the site, I trust that we'll all be able to keep up with events at which the band will be performing. We'll most definitely see you at the parade next weekend.
What was the first song? I know it as "The Rowan Tree," based on a Brother CD I have. I thought maybe it had another name.
See you soon!
Slainte,
Dana

KUPD pics
Arrrright, lads 'n' lasses... here are some photos from the performance at Natasha's last night. Naturally, they are displayed in the exact opposite order that I wanted them in, but I haven't been able to figure out how to reverse it. Anyway, have a look here: KUPD at Natasha's, 03/08/08
I trust that Tom and Diane will have some additional photos to share in the next few days. Cheers!

The first song was "Scots Wha Hae"
followed by Rowan Tree, High Road to Gaerloch and of course Scotland the Brave.
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Oops... yeah, I meant the second song. Guess I could have consulted SexyButler's copy of set(t) list (or was it the stripe list? ).
