I've given up on the marmite for now, or until I find a place to get it. I've taken up putting marmalade on oatmeal cookies, and I'm sticking to it.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I like both Marmite & Vegemite, but to tell the truth, it's been ages since I've had either one. My mate in Toowoomba, Qld. sent me some Vegemite one time, and our local Irish import store (which closed down several years ago) sold Marmite.
But I'll take ANZAC Biscuits over both of 'em anyday!

For some reason, I think marmite might taste good on a steak... Put on after it has been cooked of course. I'm thinking a london broil. I think I would rather use horseradish, though.
That might be a good reason to get some. There are a couple of Irish stores over in Scotsdale. They might have a jar of marmite... I think I'll also look for another driving cap if I go over there.

But look what they do to it!!! Turn waste into a useful product. At least it gets further processed before going down the sewer.

In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

a lot like Haggis, eh?
When you think about it, it's very frugal.

After much searching in my local supermarket, I was able to find a jar. I've been enjoying toast with butter, Marmite, and English cheddar. I have yet to try it with cottage cheese. Anyone have recommendations for a must try?
