Range is F below the staff to C above the staff, bass clef. Early in the morning I go a step lower...LOL.. I sang my senior year in high school and noticed an improvement in my fledgling trumpet playing, at the time.

I'm mostly a clarinet player, which I do a lot. I've resisted joining the church choir for 20 years!

I like being an alto, I can sing with the guys around a campfire. Without effort, usually my voice is scratchy though.

I'd have to say 4 feet, any further than that and my kids can't hear me tell them to take the garbage out.

Probably Basso-baritono, but never checked for sure. I'll like to sing like Ronnie James Dio (Good old Ronald Padovano ), but in my Hard Rock career I just singed the backing vocals. Thanks to the theatre I have a pretty good educated voice!

A tenor range is practical for loud singing, ...in a piping class for instance !

Bass-baritone for me. It surprises everyone, I'm a small guy and they think I'll have a squeaky voice or something.

I even play the bass guitar... it is not a casuality!
What els could I be if not a bass baritone? LOL!!
I love the lowest notes, the slow vibration of the low frequency, that let you move all the inner body... wow! bass is sexy! LOL!

Spoken for me. Either that, or mumbling, like Beck... ;-)

Tenor here. I spent the last three years of high school in the choir and took vocal lessons, music theory and music mechanics. I played the trombone in marching band, bassoon in concert band, and bass guitar in the jazz band. I also taught myself to play the acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, and piano (bluegrass is my favorite).

    I've always loved music.
