Quick question as the clock ticks down to my UK's arrival... Can anyone tell me how wide the belt loops on the Survival II are? What size belt (for now just a plain old leather belt from Target or Wal-Mart, nothing fancy yet) do I need to get?
Woohoo!! It's finally here. My Utilikilt was just delivered to my house... but sadly I'm still at work. I won't get home to enjoy it for three more long, miserable hours. :*(
Half-way through my first day as the kilted zookeeper and all's well so far. Very, very comfortable (of course). I'm still a little nervous about treating the kilt well, trying to keep it as clean as I can in this particular job, not wanting to scuff or damage it, etc. But I'm slowly get over that. However I think if this gets approved for me to wear on a regular basis I'll actually get a Workman's model and save this Survival one for wearing out in the "real world".
Still have yet to cross paths with the boss that dared me to wear this to work in the first place, but have gotten positive remarks from zoo visitors and coworkers, one of whom has already expressed an interest in joining the revolution... handed out my first UK business card.
