My mother left a dozen years ago.
My father is very near to it.

My deepest thanks to all of you who have posted condolences here. Your words of prayer and support are much appreciated.

While certainly not totally unexpected, given her health issues, I am still in a state of shock and a bit overwhelmed by the situation. She was my Galician link and I regret that I never got around to getting a kilt in that tartan in time for her to see. Since she wasn't Scottish, though, she never knew what to think about the kilt thing.
