Hey now, "fake" is such a harsh term. I prefer "predetermined." I WISH it were fake, it'd mean fewer concussions and pulled muscles.
Don't get me wrong, I know that stuff has to hurt, day in and day out.
What I refer to as the defining point that I said 'F it" to wrestling was when Yokozuma played Santa Claus and they showed it during the program. That was when I decided that they didn't care about the line and I've never been able to get the same enjoyment out of watching it that I used to.
I know that I am in for some stick for this, but here goes.
As somebody 6'5" and 20 stone I have to say its not something that happens to me very often and when it does I have to say that a quick cutting remark normally does the job, in addition the only people I meet with on a regular basis who also wear a kilt are also bikers (don't know why but its becoming very common) and most bikers I know have sufficient intelligence to keep comments to themselves. However there are occasions when a swift physical response is justified and required, I know, I know, as adults we should be above such responses, and as an officer of the law I should not condone or advocate it however; it is i have to say very pleasant to punch on the nose some ***--le who richly deserves it !! (circumstances permitting of course)
I have never had to resort to physical violence. I do occasionally rise out-wit one of them, but that is usually not difficult. And mostly people choose not to hassle me. It may be the buzz cut hair and tattoos, I don't know. I am not that large.
Confidence is very important. Wear a kilt, get more confidence.
