Heh...
Cleverly concealed in a packet of hard drugs, so the coffee-sniffing dogs at the airport don't smell it...
Thinking of Scotland reminds me that there's a word I haven't heard in the 33 years since the last time I was in Aberdeen.
"Canny."
As in "Watch that fellow. He's too canny for his own good."

And Steve, walking down the Royal Mile spies a Gold Brothers shop displaying a familiar looking kilt, sort of.... With a placard stating "Canada Heritage Kilt". The prominently displayed waistband tag has the obligatory "Designed in Canada" .. The kilt is a self colour, very similar to the one Steve is wearing. Below the kilt is another placard reading "Offices soon to open in Ottawa and Vancouver".
To be continued.

Ok then chaps, a semi serious question. Is the coffee over here that much different than the stuff over there? Of course, if our coffee is that bad there is always whisky to drink.

I've had some great coffee in the UK, properly brewed. Then there are the few places that serve instant coffee. That stuff should be banned from the planet.

That must have been Starbucks or Costa. Plenty of places now have espresso machines so you'd have a job finding instant coffee. Take Jock's advice and stick to the whisky - it kills all known germs as well!

It's been a long time since I was in the UK so I can't really say. I did have some awful coffee there and usually opted for tea... having said that, I've had PLENTY of awful coffee on this side of the pond, too.
Besides, I think Jock has offered the perfect solution.
