I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Glen, as I said in your other thread, it was a pleasure seeing you and Catherine. I wish I had had more help when you came in (my usual Wed morning helped called in so I was quite literally on my own). I would have loved to have given you more of a "grand tour."
As you said, Friday when you returned we were so busy with folks I couldn't stand still. Glen did assist me with a few gift shop customers, making reccomendations for accessories, etc. I think I must owe you a commission!
Glad to know that you enjoyed yur visit and are back home safe.
To answer a couple of questions -- no we don't sell the London Scottish prints. That whole collection is on loan from Bob Martin. You may try contacting the LS museum.
And the tweed kilt outfit is Harris tweed, and no, not for sale. :-)
We could get you one very much like it, however...

Wow!! That's a LOT more stuff than I thought was there. Thanks for the enlightenment and pics.
Have a cousin not way too far from there in Moravian Falls, N.C. Maybe some day will get back to Carolina....some day...

Yes, Riverkilt, that IS a lot of stuff.
The STM is not a huge place, but it's full of everything you need and most of what you want. The real "museum" part is downstairs, with the gift shop upstairs at sidewalk level. It's biggest and most valuable possession is/are the folks like Matt Newsome et al who work there. They can answer questions that most if us can't even think up.

Eventually I will make it there myself. Not sure how far from middle TN it is but next time I am heading out East I will be sure to stop in.
