The wonderful thing about this site... is you get various honest opinions.. it helps you figure out how you feel comfortable dressing... I was uneducated in kilt wear, when I joined the forum, and with all the information I gathered, I found the way, I felt more comfortable. Granted, not everyone approves of the style kilt, I prefer to wear.. but its a more traditional form, while being a bit contemporary at the same time.. I wear 4 yd box pleat kilts. I learned I like the higher rise of a more traditional fit, over a jeans waist fit of a UK. I had a Survivor, and ended up selling it to buy my first "real kilt" a Freedom Kilts 4 yd box pleat Leatherneck, which I am very happy with.
Experiment with different styles, and levels of dress, you might find out you are just a casual kind of guy, or you may end up feeling more comfortable being a contemporary business casual type... there are many styles of kilts and manners of dress... and with this site.. you can experience them all.. and find your niche. Keep looking and yes, post pictures, and get honest pinions, both pro and con, and see where you find your happy medium..
