I'm one of those who's having problems with the pale text and bright background.

IMHO, there's a fine line between "clean" and "sterile" and I do think this current skin may have drifted over that line a bit.

Will those with issues of having the page off center or the ads not aligning properly please post a screen shot of what you are seeing.

The ads, along with the entire forum should be fluid and adjusting to fit your monitor.

The Forum Jump isn't what we were referring to. There used to be a set of links at the bottom of each page, identical to the one at the top that linked back to the forum you're in. For example, this thread would have a link that looked like this:

X Marks the Scot - A Community of Kiltwearers. > General Kilt Talk > General Kilt Talk > Totally disoriented..

It allowed you to clink General Kilt Talk and pop straight back to that forum instead of scrolling through a dropdown or scrolling back to the top to click that link. It's just a really handy feature.

Anyway, thank you for all the work you're putting in to this, Steve. I'm sure it'll all be sorted out in no time.

Now, I can't read for more than a couple minutes without my eyes getting tired -- it's like having a case of snow blindness. It's all too light colored.

I kind of agree.

I think I'm going to go to the bontanical garden and look at the state of the rose garden. It won't hurt my eyes or confuse me.

I think you'll find thats due to the large pic in the vorpallemur post on Page 3.
It doesn't resize - but everything else on the page necessarily assumes that that is the width it has to be.
