Since my earlier post I have had some changes in my life and I am currently in the final processes of relocating. Looks like I will miss Harpenden this year as I'll be some 400 miles north of it. It's a great day out if the weather is with you. Best wishes to all who are attending.

I was hoping to be there but alas I am unable to make it as I am desperately needed at my steam railway.
Hope everyone has a good day there.

Latest up-date.
Here is the map of the site:

Our pitch is X3 shown as a little Saltire on the map.
Some changes from previous years.
We are facing the Band Circle this year rather than round the corner. Should get a far better view.
They have moved the heavy events into the main arena, rather than having them stuck up the top field.
The main arena has been split in two so anyone standing between them should be able to see everything.
I have started checking equipment and packing it already, so it all goes smoothly on the day.
Post Code for satnav is:

Well, since you're one of the very best about taking pictures and posting them, I'll put in my request for the weathered Black Watch. I am sooooo in love with it.

Anybody free for a drink on the Saturday night? I'll be driving down (alas sans daughters and dog, but thankfully avec Very Good Friend Rob) on Saturday morning and landing at the Travelodge at Hemel Hempstead for 3pm... then need to find someplace good for food and drink. Any recommendations, and anybody want to go out en masse?
