Zardoz St.Patrick's weekend...
Sorry to be remiss in posting!
I had a fairly low-key St.Pat's this year, but got a few photos;
The weather forecast for Saturday parade day definitely called for rain, and my favorite band Circa Paleo was playing at Sherwood Forest Faire, so...
I drove 112 miles to sit in the rain and see them!
Still better than a sunny day at work!
Of course it cleared up on Sunday, but I had to be back in Houston...
On St.Patrick's Day Monday I started bright and early at the Mucky Duck, to see (surprise) Circa Paleo play again!
there was also traditional Irish bellydance!
Later I moved on to my local, The Ashford Arms Pub for more serious and reasonably priced eating and drinking!
And where the staff and patrons had more interesting "cultural stereotype outfits"!
And a visit from the Bud Light pipe band (mostly guys from the Houston Fire Dept and St Thomas Alumni bands)
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.
