    Chairman's (host's) welcome
    The Selkirk Grace
    Address to the haggis
    Toast to the haggis
The first entertainment - a song or poem
The second entertainment - a song or poem
    Toast to the Lassies
    The Lassie's reply
Chairman's (host's) thanks to the assembly

After a little internet sleuthing, it appears that several of those aren't separate things. Sorry, I really am not trying to be difficult, I just really don't know for sure what is needed or what is done.
    I think now we need:

    Address to the haggis
    First entertainment
    Second entertainment
    Toast to the Lassies
    The Lassies' reply
I'll say Selkirk Grace, as long as the Southern accent doesn't bother y'all.
    LOCH SLOY!
    Cheers, Wil

Well, if I'm getting things right, we have:

    Host - open/maybe Jim
    Selkirk Grace - Wil
Address to the Haggis - tripleblessed
"Banks and Braes O' Bonny Doon" - trippleblessed
"Red, Red Rose" - piper friend
Toast to the Lassies - ohneplo
    The Lassies' Reply - open

I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes here, I just find it quite helpful to know what jobs still need volunteers. Do I have it correct?

Having not heard back from Jim, I don't know whether he has made assignments. So: @Wil, since you have been to one, and Sam would prefer
to sit the first time, I'll suggest we go with you. As the Grace often to generally is said by the host, could you also consider just welcoming and
some simple segues as well? Should Jim prefer to sit part of it, you've probably watched more and better hosting than most, so have better modeling
in mind. It's not a whole lot. If I'm remembering correctly. And if it's cloudy, Creag will be joining, and he has experience. Also, Jim may want to
do it; he hasn't said. So now we need still a reply from the lassies. @ohneplo, with no response to my e-mail, I'm assuming you hied thee hence to
YouTube and got guidance for a Toast to the Lassies; I'm sure much better advice than any I would have had.

Guys, none of us are pros, we're OK if you need to read it to get through it the first time. I found out Thursday for a Friday night supper that I was
assigned the Address the first time, and I sort of made it. MH had the words for me in case, but we survived. Next year we'll all be better. We'll
have a good time however it goes down, and it continues.

So............ Calming and gentling of the Rabble _ Group Effort and Tavern Security
............... Welcome _Wil, or Jim, or Creag, (easily parsed over a shot of Scotch)
............... Grace _ Wil or above

................ Presentation of the Wild Haggis, freshly subdued

................ Homage to the puir beastie _ Michael

    ................ MEAL

    ................ Immortal Memory _ Himself
................ Toast to the Lassies _ Capt. Bruce
    ................ Lassie's Revenge _ Herself? (suggestions?)
................ Sundry Amusements.......................Lamar, Cliff, the dreaded tripleblessed, Miss Alabama

................ Maybe Tam O'Shanter _ Himself (or not)
................ Closing _ A distinguished member of the Welcome Committee

Tentative, but doable. Order is as last year; could be adjusted if desired. Who can print?

Final headcount is Jim's; I don't know who of non X Marks is scheduled to show. @The Scot: OK? No? You have a lassie in mind?

Ladies and gentlemen, all of a refined nature,

Please forgive my lack of attendance here. In truth I am too old to be carrying on all the things I have going: meetings every night this week, long days at the college, etc. I though college level instruction was supposed to be a more leisurely, scholarly pursuit, but the admin/bureaucratic stuff is a killer! But we'll save my sob stories for another day.

I do, however, see that Michael et al have set thing up admirably, as I knew they would. You're having done so has really relieved me of one more burden that might have proven my undoing. I told Michael that I was just unable to shoulder the thing this year.

I will, of course, deliver the Immortal Memory as promised, and we'll fill in the rest on sight (who welcomes, etc.). I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night.

Wear a kilt, gentlemen. Ladies, just show up since you all look really good in anything!

@thescot, no worries. I knew you were busy, just didn't want to delegate something you had taken care of.

@AlabamaCelticLass, @Wil, @ohneplo, we need actual names for the program. And we'll need to know which poem is being surreptitiously
brought out travail in Alabama to glorious display in Conyers. Still no answer on whether sky and temperature will allow Creag to see stars
or eat haggis. Lamar is still choosing a poem, but should decide by tonight.

@thescot, do you want Tam O'Shanter? And should the program include "Auld Lang Syne"? We've done, and we've not done in the past.
If 'tis to be done, best have the words for the appropriate verses.
