Sorry about the political comment.. I'm just rather interested in politics and thought I'd make a crack. Anyways, now I know better
And all of you, thank you for the nice comments.
As to what my parents think, my mom helped me pay for most of the kilt. She really likes it, personally, and even if she didn't, she'd probably encourage me wearing it, as long as I liked it, ya know. She's pretty easy going.

Sounds like you have a great mom. But,then, good parents usually produce great kids. Hope you don't mind me calling you a kid. I still call my 3 "kids", and the youngest will be 22 in about 3 weeks.

You must take me for someone who's quite sensitive, but I'm really not ;). Go ahead and call me whatever you want. I'm definately still a kid to most of the population here, it seems.
Yeah, although it's sort of hard for someone my age, hormones and testerone raging, to get along with my mother harmoniously, but yeah, she's pretty good.
My grandparents whom I'm quite close to (they live only a block away) really like it, too. Especially my grandmother, who's really quite proud of her Scottish herritage (her father being from Glasgow).
Anyways sir, go ahead and call me whatever you want, whatever you feel appropriate.

Hahaha, we are now even. There is an old saying in most military organizations, among the enlisted men. It goes, "don't call me sir, I work for a living" But then I am old enough to be your granddad, so I'll I'm okay with it. Heck, you can call me whatever you wish. I've even answered to "The Old Fart" a time or two.

I respect an ex-military man far too much to call them Old Fart!
But I might have to make an exception here
