MNlad,
If your parrot ate your watch, would that make time fly?

Congratulations, Mikilt. You've managed to stretch this thread to 50 pages of mirth and merriment.
A wondrous word play is the pun
It stretches the vocabulary and is fun
While it may make some groan,
And cause your family to moan,
You simply can't stop at just one
Oops, wrong thread.

While walking the beach by the sea
I dropped my watch carelessly
It slipped from hand
And got buried in sand
I lost time littorally

It's odd that William Tell was an archer. His family were well-known bowling champions. Unfortunately, all records of this have been lost so there is no way to know for whom the Tells bowled.

Mary had a little watch.
She swallowed it one day.
She started taking caster oil to pass the time away.
She kept on taking caster oil
but the time it wouldn't pass.
So, if you want to know what time it is, just look up Mary's............................................ ........... uncle.
He's got a watch.

It is said that William Tell once shot an apple off his son's head. What isn't mentioned is that the shot wasn't centered but hit quite low. But that's splitting hairs.

My neighbor came over with a Jello dessert (Jelly if you are in the UK).
She was carrying a congealed weapon.

My wife made some potato salad for our family reunion. Unfortunately, the mayonnaise had turned, causing great intestinal distress for everyone attending. Doctors called it a weapon of mass eruption.
