Looks like a great day for you. BTW, I'm all against penalty kicks to end a match and think that everything should go to golden goal no matter how long it takes. (especially in chamionship matches.) I also really like the tartan in the team colors. Congrats on a good season.

Not at all, P1M -- It sounds like a very well-played game, and I'm glad to hear the fans were well-behaved.

All of this reminds me of "Mystery, Alaska" or "A Shot at Glory"!

I may be a Jambo supporter, but Gretna has now become my No. 2 favourite team!

    Cheers,

    Todd

found a greet article in the day's Scotsman newspaper....

    http://sport.scotsman.com/topics.cfm...7&id=719162006

it is aboot coach Rowan Alexander donnin his kilt an the Gretna owner Brookes Mileson... an the match as well....

MOST Chairmen and Directors of football clubs which reach a major final will don a good suit or even a black tie to attend the match. Gretna manager Rowan Alexander, for instance, wore full Highland regalia in the dug-out at Hampden yesterday.

    Thumbs up

It's a pity to see that at last they couldn't get it,... but they must feel great for what they get... I'll think about getting one of their t-shirts for my trip over there. It will be smthg to wear with pride... I just have to avoid wearing it while being with my Dundee friends!

In my case i can't choose them as my "second" team as my first is Valencia and second is Celtic FC, but they have get all my respect.

I was even thinking today if it would be the same in Scotland than in Spain. Here the winner of the Spanish Cup goes directly to play UEFA Cup next year. It would have been amazing to see them in action against a spanish team next year!

Anyway... I wish the best for them for the next season!

    ¡Salud!

I haven't had a Scottish team on my supporter's list, but I do now!

I've now added Gretna to the teams I follow.

From before there is Start (my home team since knee-high, who took silver in last year's Norwegian premier league), Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield, Arsenal, and St Patrick's Ath.

I guess there is another tartan on my wanted-list: Gretna FC
